General Information
Our goal is to assist in maintaining the fiscal stability of the Town of Southbury by ensuring the timely collection and recording of all revenues through the diligent application of Connecticut State Statutes, regulations and other enforcement aids, while assisting the public in understanding the taxation process and procedures while maintaining an effective and cordial relationship with the general public. The Town of Southbury cannot override or make any decisions contrary to the Connecticut State Statutes.
The Tax Collector's office is responsible for the billing and collection of all Real Estate, Personal Property, Motor Vehicle Taxes and related penalty charges.
