On September 7, 2025, 1:00 PM at the Pavilion in Ballantine Park, the Volunteer Appreciation Committee will be hosting an afternoon filled with community spirit, food and fun.
This year’s honorees are ALL of the wonderful townspeople within our community, with a special acknowledgement to Southbury’s First Responders. The Volunteer Appreciation Committee recognizes that many of our Southburians have gone above and beyond assisting their neighbors, and friends through tough times this past year. With that said we once again feel that we would be remiss not to say Thank You to each and every one of our community members for the effort and kindness displayed.
This year’s theme will be continuing as COMMUNITY. With this in mind we are requesting that attendees help support those less fortunate than ourselves by bringing to the event a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Southbury Food Bank and will be distributed by them.
The event is free but advance registration is required. Please register below.
