Due to the rain, the Memorial Day Parade was cancelled. The Ceremony honoring those who served our country took place inside Senior Center/Parks and Recreation building and outside on the Veterans Memorial Green. The annual Family Day Picnic took place outside of Senior Center/Parks and Recreation building.
The annual event is organized by the Southbury Parks & Recreation Department and Memorial Day Parade Committee with help from the Southbury Police, Senior Services, Emergency Management, Public Works and Fire Departments.
