Southbury America 250th Committee and Southbury VFW Post 1607 celebrated the Flag Day on June 14, 2026. Along with the raising of the Flag, this year there was a display of Revolutionary era flags, and a short talk about the beginnings of the American Flag presented by Southbury Town Historian John Dwyer.
