Description

The town boat launch on Shepaug River features a paved boat ramp and a dock for boat launching. Parking is for Southbury residents only.

Parking

Parking is available to Southbury residents with a paid parking permit. Parking permit fees are $10 per vehicle, and are available at the Parks and Recreation office with proof of residency during normal business hours or by calling (203) 262-0633 to make an appointment. To expedite your visit, please create a household account here before arrival. Parking permits must be renewed annually. Parking is limited, even for pass holders, and is first-come-first-serve.

Rules

• Alcohol and smoking or vaping of any kind are strictly prohibited on Town Boat Launch property.
• Dogs are allowed and must be on leash at all times. Please pick up after your dog.
• Dock is for active loading and unloading only.
• Parking permits for the Town Boat Launch are required for each vehicle and available to Southbury residents only.
• Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
• Carry out what you carry in.
