The Parks & Rec Clubhouse provides a space to meet and make new friends through specialized activities for various ages. Participate in different & unique activities while our staff helps guide you through your adventures. And the best part is that we clean up the mess! Our activities range from seasonal activities, science/learning activities, sensory learning and other messy crafts & activities!
Snake Lab offers different educational classes about different snakes, with special activities and handling real ball pythons. The newly added Ball Python 102 is a smaller class where each participant is paired up to hold a ball python for the class (one class offers the opportunity to feed the snake).
Pumpkin Lab includes everything you need to carve a pumpkin, including the pumpkin itself and our staff clean up the mess!
In Slime Lab participants will get to create their own slime mixture, with added in colors, scents and add ins.
These programs will be held at 561 Main Street South in Southbury, CT in the Parks & Recreation Building- Multipurpose Room.
