
Southbury Parks and Recreation outdoor concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. In case of rain, the concerts will be canceled.
All concerts will be held at the Gazebo at Settlers Park. Cars can be parked at the playground lot or in the nearby overflow parking lot. 280 Crook Horn Rd, Southbury.
This year will feature two different food vendors: Lucky Dog’s World Famous Hot Dogs will be in attendance on July 6th, 13th, and 27th. D’Andrea’s Deli will be on site on July 20th.
July 6: 6:00-8:00pm “Marc Berger + RIDE“
Marc's songs span the full range of American roots music: country, blues, folk and rock n' roll. He has performed at Austin’s SXSW Music Festival and the Kerrville Folk Festival and has opened shows for Bob Dylan and other national acts. Inspired by Marc’s lifelong love affair with the American West, RIDE, his critically acclaimed current release has received national airplay. At this concert, Marc and his band will serve up a mash of roots rock, blues, country and shake yer booty folk music!
July 13: 6:00-8:00pm “One Track Mind”
Southbury's own, One Track Mind will take you on a musical odyssey playing both crowd favorites to forgotten gems. From Supertramp to Steely Dan, Aerosmith to Alanis, the Pretenders to Pink Floyd, Coldplay to Cocker - OTM's play list spans decades and genres that satisfies any musical taste. OTM has been playing in New Haven county's premier venues for well over 15 years.
July 20: 6:00-8:00pm “Sun Kings – A Beatles Tribute”
Come relive a magical time in music history with “Sun Kings – A Beatles Tribute.” Sit back, relax, and enjoy the music created by one of the most influential bands of our time. You’ll hear many of their No. 1 hits as well as some of their lesser known tunes – all performed with an attention to detail duplicating their tight harmonies, fancy guitar work, and solid backbeat. In other words, that signature Beatles sound!
July 27: 6:00-8:00pm “My Brother’s Band”
“My Brother’s Band” is a rock group known for mixing original songs with high-energy covers from classic rock legends. “My Brother’s Band” has developed a loyal following with a dynamic set list that includes songs by Grand Funk Railroad, Steve Winwood, Ian Moore, James Gang, and .38 Special. The group also regularly features fan-favorite tracks from Johnny Winter and Edgar Winter, blending well-known hits with original material for a full evening of rock-driven entertainment.
