Join Parks and Recreation for a special experience featuring Maleficent the stunning and endangered Eastern Indigo. She is one of the most intelligent species of snakes, is non-venomous and is very sweet and docile. Participants will get to learn about her unique ecosystem, discover what makes her species endangered, make their own arts project to take home, and even get the chance to hold/interact with Maleficent. Maleficent has a special surprise to show the class too! Upon arrival to the program, participants must wash their hands.
The program will take place at the Southbury Parks & Recreation building, 561 Main Street South, Southbury.
