The Town of Southbury is proud to announce that Deborah Zachariewicz has been named to the 2024 Municipal Clerks Honor Roll.
Throughout Zachariewicz's 35-year career with the Town of Southbury, she has served as an administrative assistant for the Fiscal, Parks and Recreation, and Land Use
Departments. She is one of 311 municipal clerks who made this year's list from 38 states. A full list of 2024 honorees can be found at www.MunicipalClerksHonorRoll.com.
The Municipal Clerks Honor Roll is a special national recognition program from General Code since 2001. It gives municipal officials, private citizens, and other colleagues the opportunity to acknowledge and pay tribute to the municipal clerks who give so much to their communities every day. The program originally ran from 2001 to 2010. In 2019 it was reintroduced to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of Municipal Clerks Week.
