Easing of social distancing rules from Governor Lamont

Governor Lamont stated that there is now a lessening of some social distancing rules. He stated that the rules changed to make them reasonable, enforceable, and something that people believe in. Here is what’s new:

  • Gatherings at a private residence, previously limited to five, is now capped at 10 inside and up to 25 outside, as long as proper social distancing is observed.
  • Houses of worship will be allowed 100 visitors, or no more than 25% capacity, whichever is less inside. Outdoor services can be attended by up to 150, as long as proper social distancing is maintained.
