Southbury Playgrounds and Tennis Courts Open for Memorial Day Weekend
First Selectman Jeff Manville advised town crews to reopen all playgrounds and tennis courts for Memorial Day Weekend. He wants residents to know that the sites are not being cleaned by staff and users should make appropriate accommodations. Please remember to maintain social distancing requirements at all times and observe CDC hygiene recommendations.
Memorial Day Ceremony Video
Due to concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic, the town’s Memorial Day Parade has been canceled for this year. A video of the pre-recorded Memorial Day Ceremony will be posted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 25, at www.southbury-ct.org/videos and will be shared on the town’s social media channels. The video will be shown on Heritage Village Channel 14 on Monday at 11am as well. For other times and days, please check Channel 14 schedule on Heritage Village website.
