3/24/2020 - COVID-19 Southbury Update

With the presence of COVID-19 in our community, we are continuing to monitor the impact it has on our Town. As the State of Connecticut continues to process Coronavirus tests, we have seen additional positive cases in Southbury. The emergency operations team interacts daily to protect the citizens of Southbury. Governor Ned Lamont’s “Stay Safe, Stay Home” executive order is now in effect. This order directs all non-essential businesses and not-for-profit entities in Connecticut to prohibit all in-person functions. There is a list of business exemptions for the executive order at: portal.ct.gov/DECD/Content/Coronavirus-for-Businesses/Coronavirus-for-Businesses. Please help stop the spread of Coronavirus and stay home unless it is necessary to leave.
