Absentee ballots are available at the Town Clerk’s Office for the Municipal Election on November 5, 2019.
To obtain an absentee ballot, a registered voter must complete an application. Applications are available at the Town Clerk’s Office or can be printed from the town of Southbury website at southbury-ct.org/absenteeballots or the Secretary of the State’s website at sots.ct.gov.
Once the completed application is received and verified by the Town Clerk’s Office, a ballot will be provided.
Completed applications may be returned by fax to 203-264-9762, but the original signed application must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office prior to the close of polls at 8:00 p.m. on November 5th, in order for the ballot to be counted.
The Town Clerk’s Office is located at Southbury Town Hall at 501 Main St. South and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
