Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 2-4:30pm in the Kingsley Room, join us for a film screening of “The Plastic Detox.”
The dangers of using plastics have an unprecedented health toll on fertility, puberty, and much more. This documentary follows the research of Dr. Swan and other experts in the field, covering the impact on human development and showing how we can take matters into our own hands. The film features six couples with unexplained infertility who reduce their plastic exposure to improve their chances of conceiving.
The film will be followed by a presentation and Q&A session on how to reduce your plastic exposure. Sponsored by Beyond Plastics and Sustainable Southbury.
Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. Registration is required. Please visit the link below for more information and to register.
