Effective Tuesday, October 20, the traffic pattern at the Transfer Station will change.
After entering the Transfer Station, drivers will first proceed to the solid waste deposit area. From there, drivers may either exit through the current exit gate or continue to the recycling deposit area, traveling in the opposite direction of the current traffic flow. After leaving the recycling deposit area, drivers will exit through the current entrance gate.
Once the new traffic pattern takes effect, vehicles will not be permitted in the center of the Transfer Station between the solid waste and recycling deposit areas. This will eliminate potential conflicts between equipment and vehicles in the central area.
