The Southbury Department of Public Works and Asphalt Repair Solutions will begin work on the reconstruction of Bucks Hill Road between Main Street North (Route 6) and Lum Lot Road on August 3.
Approximate hours for the work are between 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. While work is in progress, alternating one-way traffic patterns and temporary road closures will be in effect. Thru traffic should avoid Bucks Hill Road in the work area. Local traffic will have access to their homes with limited interruptions.
Delays are expected, and motorists are urged to use alternate routes. Vehicles are not permitted to park on the street during the work. Please be mindful of work crews in the work area and use caution.
Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and coordination with contractors.
