Crews working on behalf of Connecticut Water Company (CWC) will be conducting brief water service line inspections in the Town of Southbury.
This work is part of CWC’s Water Service Line Inventory Program, which is required under U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations. The inspections involve small excavations near the curb or sidewalk to identify water service line materials and update system records. The work will be completed by Hydra crews working on behalf of CWC, using clearly marked vehicles as shown in the photos.
- No water service interruptions are expected
- Work at each location is brief
- Excavated areas will be restored after work is complete
- A door hanger with additional information will be left at affected properties
