1/22/2026 - Southbury Snow Alert!

With the impending snowstorm, the Town of Southbury is busy preparing. We urge all residents and visitors of Southbury to stay off the roadways during and immediately following snow events. This allows our Public Works department to properly clear and remove snow in an efficient manner. Please try to maintain clear driveways and walkways in the event emergency personnel need to access your residence.

In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

The Town of Southbury would like to remind residents of the following:

Parking Ban
There is no parking on any town road during or immediately following a snow event. Please allow our plow drivers at least six hours after the conclusion of a storm to finish their routes. Sidewalks

Road Safety Reminder
When clearing your driveway and/or sidewalks please DO NOT put snow or ice in the roadway or on the sidewalks.
