Southbury Town Hall will continue its current hours of operation for town hall employees. Additionally, the Senior Center will keep their extended hours in addition to being open on Fridays 8:00am to 1:00pm.
Town Hall hours will continue to be:
- Monday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Friday: Closed
Senior Services Director Andrea Corcoran is pleased to announce that in working with First Selectman Jeff Manville and Finance Director Dan Colton, the Senior Center will be open Fridays 8:00am - 1:00pm. Since the pilot program was a success as evident by the increase in membership, the Senior Center will also keep the extended hours on Monday through Thursday thereby increasing services to our senior population. "It has always been my goal to provide greater access to programs and services for the community and support our employees while maintaining our fiscal responsibility to our taxpayers", said First Selectman Jeff Manville. There will not be any additional staff hired, and the budget will not be affected by the added hours. First Selectman Manville would like to thank the town staff for their cooperation in making this program possible.
Beginning on September 8, 2025, Senior Center hours will be:
- Monday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 1:00pm
