Library resumes regular schedule starting Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
We are thrilled to announce the Southbury Public Library is scheduled to reopen to the public on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, two months ahead of schedule.
The location at the Heritage Hotel will be open for hold request pickup the week of Monday, August 25 through Friday, August 29. After 5:30 pm on Friday, August 29 the Heritage Hotel location will close, and all services will resume at the 100 Poverty Road location. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 2 at 9:30 am. This will also mark the return of our fall weekend hours. Please see below for hours.
All regular library services will be available, including Wi-Fi, computer access, printing, copying, and more. Please check our calendar for time and location of all programs and events.
The elevator will be under construction and unavailable. Please see staff for reasonable accommodations.

- Tuesday/Thursday 9:30am-9pm
- Saturday 9:30am-4pm
- Sunday 12pm-5pm
