4/5/2025 - Spring Extravaganza
Activities taking place:
- Candy Scramble (traditional candy-filled eggs and capsules placed out for children to collect) separated into two age groups: children under 4 and children 5 and up.). Arrive 10 minutes before the time:
- 10:00am SHARP
- 11:00am SHARP
- Sensory friendly Scramble at 10:30am - participation by sign up only, please check in with staff upon arrival
- Spring and holiday themed crafts
- Educational information booths
- Decorated spring scenes for photo opportunities with a costume bunny and live animals, and photo booth with props
- Sensory-friendly activities throughout the event in a special accommodations area on the Senior Center side of the building
- Non-perishable food collection for the Southbury Food Bank
