The Southbury Public Library invites interested teens in Grades 6-12 to volunteer with the New Junior Friends of the Southbury Library from 6-7:30pm on the first Tuesday of each month at the library, beginning Thursday, December 7, 2023.
After a hiatus, the Junior Friends are back! This offshoot of the Friends of the Southbury Public Library is for Grades 6-12 and meets once a month to help assist the Friends with various projects, including organizing and preparing items in the book sale. Meetings are the first Thursday of the month from 6-7:30pm. Attending one meeting does not commit you to attending future meetings, though it is welcome and encouraged.
