9/23/2023 - Genealogy Basics: The Research Process on October 12, 2023

On Thursday, October 12th, 2023 from 2-3:30pm on Zoom and streamed to the Kingsley Room, join us for a virtual program and learn more about the research process in genealogy.

Designed for beginning to intermediate genealogists, join as we explore the formal genealogy research process. This program will cover identifying a research question; formulating a research plan; and evaluating what’s discovered. Perfect for genealogists starting to feel a little overwhelmed by their initial search.

Bryna O’Sullivan is a Middletown, CT based professional genealogist and French to English genealogical translator. As proprietor of Charter Oak Genealogy, she specializes in lineage society translations.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. This program is sponsored by the Janet Mann Fund. Registration is required. Zoom invitation links will be sent via email on the day of the program. Please visit the link below for more information and to register.
