3/20/2023 - Secret Stories Behind the World’s Most Iconic Paintings, Part II on April 28, 2023

On Friday, April 28th, 2023 from 2-3:30pm on Zoom and streamed to the Kingsley Room, join us for a virtual program about some of the hidden stories behind famous artworks.

From Starry Night to The Nighthawks, there are some images that are so ubiquitous in our culture that we have stopped looking at them closely. Join us as we delve into these iconic works and share the secret stories behind their creation and reception.

Jane Oneail is an independent scholar and holds a Master's in Art History from Boston University and a Master's in Art in Education from Harvard University. Jane is a New Hampshire native and has worked at some of the state's most esteemed cultural institutions, including the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, where she served as Executive Director, and the Currier Museum of Art, where she held the role of Senior Educator.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency.
