Which state has seen the most future Presidents born? Who was the first President born an American citizen? (Hint: It's not George Washington!) Humble or lavish, in a large town or out in the wilderness, join us as we virtually travel to Presidential birthplaces across the country.
Historian Valerie Gugala has been studying Abraham and Mary Lincoln for as long as she can remember. Her interest in the Lincolns led her to an interest in the Presidents, First Ladies, and their families. She and her husband have traveled to many Presidential Libraries across the country, and they aim to visit all of them in the next few years.
Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency.
