The Southbury Public Library is excited to show these films on our new 4-K HD projector which was a recent gift by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
The first Thursday evening film, on January 12th, is the story of residents of a small town in California who discover something sinister in the skies. The cast includes Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun.
In the January 26th film, Florence Hughes plays a 1950s housewife living with her husband (Harry Styles) in a utopian experimental community that begins to worry that his glamorous company could be hiding disturbing secrets.
Because of licensing and copyright agreements, the Library cannot list the titles of the films, which are sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library. All the films start at 1:00 pm in the Kingsley Meeting Room Surround Sound Theater. All have closed captions, and an infrared listening system is available.
