1/27/2022 - The Untold Story Of The Worst Contaminated Drug Crisis In U.S. History on February 24, 2022

On Thursday, February 24th, 2022 from 6-7pm on Zoom only, join us for a talk by author Jason Dearen about corruption in medicine compounding companies.

Join investigative journalist Jason Dearen for a presentation based on his book “Kill Shot: A Shadow Industry, A Deadly Disease” and learn about the true crime story of America’s deadliest drug contamination outbreak and the greed and deception that fueled it. The author will share how you can protect yourself from medicines created in unregulated compounding pharmacies. This presentation will be given virtually.

Jason Dearen is an award-winning journalist for the Associated Press and was a 2018-2019 Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT. His work appears regularly in hundreds of newspapers and websites, including The Washington Post, The Guardian, USA Today, and The New York Times.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency.
