1/11/2022 - Coyote Wise Virtual Program on January 27, 2022

On Thursday, January 27th, 2022 from 1:30-3pm on Zoom and streamed to the Kingsley Room, join us for this timely and informative virtual lecture about coyotes and how to coexist with them.

Join us for a community-wide educational program to learn about eastern coyotes and how to best coexist with them. This program will designate the town of Southbury as a “Coyote Wise” Community, as part of a continued effort to foster coexistence and understanding of our wild canid neighbors.

Dana Goin is the Wildlife Outreach Specialist at the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY. She holds a degree in Wildlife Conservation, and has worked in various areas around the country studying large and mid-sized carnivores including mountain lions, coyotes, bobcats, and raccoons.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. This program is in partnership with Southbury Animal Control. Registration is required. Zoom invitation links will be sent via email on the day of the program. Please visit the link below for more information and to register.
