8/17/2021 - Southbury Public Library Teen Trivia: Banned Books Week on September 30, 2021

The Southbury Public Library invites interested teens in Grades 6-12 to join us in the Kingsley Room of the Southbury Public Library on Thursday, September 30 from 6-7pm for a trivia game all about Banned Books Week.

The last week of September is Banned Books Week—an annual event to highlight the value of free and open access to information. Join us for this trivia contest on this anything-but-trivial topic where all questions relate to different books that have been censored, challenged, or banned and other related topics.

This program will be held in the Kingsley Room of the Southbury Public Library; masks will be required for all participants, just as they are throughout the library. In person programming is dependent on the current COVID-19 situation and may move online if needed.

Space is limited and advance registration is required. Find out more information about this program, including how to register, on the library’s website at www.soutburylibrary.org/events. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library, free, and open to residents of any town who are in Grades 6-12.
