The Southbury Public Library invites interested teens in Grades 6-12 and their families to virtually attend a Strawberry Lemon Blondies online class on Wednesday, June 16 from 5-6pm with Food Explorers.
Join Katie Shepherd, Registered Dietician from Food Explorers, to make Strawberry Lemon Blondies from scratch! These brownie alternatives are stuffed full of fruit and citrus for a dessert that is as sweet and fresh as summer. Right from the comfort of your own kitchen, bake along with Katie as she walks everyone through the steps and answers any questions you may have. Space is limited to give time for questions, and registration is required to reserve your spot and receive Zoom login credentials. About the presenter: Katie Shepherd is a Registered Dietitian who graduated from UCONN. Katie always knew she wanted to work with kids, and took the plunge to create Food Explorers. Food Explorers programs get kids and teens hands-on with their food while they learn about healthy eating.
