3/9/2021 - Pollinators in My Backyard Lecture on April 13, 2021

On Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 from 1-2:30pm on Zoom, join us for this informative and fun lecture about butterflies in Connecticut by Victor DeMasi.

Victor DeMasi lepidopterist will take you on a sunny day walk through his pollinator meadow in Redding Connecticut. Along the way we will view some of the rare and common species he has seen there in 40 years of stewardship.

Victor DeMasi is an extremely active member of The Pollinator Pathway. He was a wetland conservation officer in his hometown of Redding for 20 years and is presently a curatorial affiliate at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History in New Haven.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library. Registration is required. Zoom invitation links will be sent via email on the day of the program.
