Peter Fletcher, Classical Guitar
On Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6:00-7:30pm Carnegie Hall performing musician Peter Fletcher will play a 70 minute classical guitar set in the Kingsley Room of the Southbury Public Library. There will be a brief intermission. After the performance Peter Fletcher will stay to greet patrons and chat. The Southbury Public Library is delighted to welcome Mr. Fletcher back after his last performance at the library in 2015.
Peter Fletcher has been broadcast on National Public Radio (NPR). Throughout his career, he has been invited to play at the George Eastman House in Rochester, Cincinnati’s Memorial Hall, St. Philip Cathedral in Atlanta, and many other prestigious venues. He made his New York Debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in February 2007, and returned in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2015. This May, he will perform at Carnegie Hall once again.
