Join us for an author talk and signing by Kim L. Shipe, author of the book Fear Not, Angels Are Summoned: How One Woman Overcame Unimaginable Suffering to Live a Life of Joy. After a traumatic youth and first marriage, Kim L. Shipe remade her life. She remarried and lived happily with her husband and children - until an elderly driver slammed her into the wall of a Southbury outdoor restaurant. This work follows her near death experience, and painful recovery. With a combination of divine interference and her “earthly angels,” Shipe was able to prevail over a long recovery and more travails.
