Sustainable Southbury is pleased to announce its first-ever scholarship to be awarded for the 2026-2027 school year in the amount of $1,000.
This scholarship is open to Southbury residents in high school, currently enrolled in a college, or returning to a higher education institution, and plan to pursue an education in one of the following areas: conservation, environmental studies, sustainability, recycling, agriculture, farming, forestry, clean energy technology, natural resource management, or urban planning.
Applicants should be in good academic standing and have a history of community service compatible with environmental issues.
