Tour the fire house and meet your local first responders. See an extrication: firefighters will cut open a donated car with the jaws of life to rescue the resident training mannequin.
Visit the informational tables set up by the Southbury Police, Ambulance, and Animal Control to learn more about what they do in town.
Participate in various activities like fire hose operation where you can take aim and spray water at targets!
Kids get to take home a goodie bag with additional activities and information.
2 pm - tanker water demonstration.
3 pm - watch Fire and EMS personnel as they simulate an actual extrication event.
