At their Regular Meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Southbury Inland Wetlands Commission took the following actions:
APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS AND PENDING FINAL RESOLUTION:
Commissioner Lesch made the motion to approve the application with conditions. Commissioner Slywka seconded the motion. Commissioner Hornbecker voted against the application with the rest of the Commissioners voting in favor. Motion passes four to one (4 to 1).
Application#: 1773: 33 Burma Road, Southbury, CT 06488. Esma Selmani (Owner/Applicant). MBL 54-28-1. Application for the establishment of Planned Development District #25 for the creation of a mixed use building, two duplexes, a single family dwelling with a detached accessory dwelling unit, and required driveway and parking areas, septic system, wells, storm water infiltrators, and additional infrastructure per plan. There is approximately six thousand four hundred forty seven (6,447) square feet/0.015 acres of activity within the upland review area for grading, outlet protection, and a subsurface storm water infiltration area. Site plan included.
