ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PUBLIC HEARING

The Zoning Board of Appeals electronically accepted 3 applications on March 4th, 2026 and will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 in the Southbury Town Hall, 501 Main Street South; Room 205 at 7:00 P.M. for the following applications:

  1. Application# 25-194-Z: 155 Upper Fish Rock Road. Andrew Straiton (Applicant/Owner). MBL 25A-61-86, 88, 89. Application for a Variance to Zoning Regulations Section 4.4 Setbacks, Schedule B, Line 8, seeking a reduction to the required yard setbacks in the R-20 zone and Section 13.6, seeking an expansion in height to an existing nonconforming structure.
  2. Appeal of Zoning Officer’s Decision to deny Zoning Application #25-299-Z: 617 South Britain Road. Stefanina Laurenza (Tenant/ Applicant) & Kevin M. Roche (Applicant). MBL 18-92-119. Appeal to the Zoning Officer’s Decision to deny Zoning Application #25-299-Z, requesting the installation of a 4SF sign in the R-20 District for Stefanina’s Spa & Aesthetics LLC.
  3. Application #26-022-ZC: 92 Glen Lane. Brian Caitlin & Katrina Sweezea (Owner/Applicant). MBL 33-22-J3. Application for a Variance to Zoning Regulations Section B, Line 8, seeking a reduction to the required yard setbacks in the R-60 Zone.

At this hearing, interested persons can appear and be heard and written communications will be received.
