At their Regular Meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the Southbury Inland Wetlands Commission took the following actions:
APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS AND PENDING FINAL RESOLUTION:
Application# 1771: 333 Main Street South. Bennett Sullivan Associates (Applicant). MBL 29-56-2. Application for permit for a proposed mixed-use development on a 2.5 acre parcel of land outside of the 50’ regulated review area and containing no wetlands onsite.
APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS AND PENDING FINAL RESOLUTION:
Application# 1772: Poverty Road Bridge #05029. Town of Southbury (Applicant); VHB (Consultant Liaison Engineer). Application for the replacement of the Poverty Road Bridge crossing over the Pomperaug River scheduled as part of the Federal Local Bridge Project under State Project #0130-0192.
