DECISION OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

At their regular meeting on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 the Southbury Zoning Board of Appeals took the following actions:

DENIED: Application # 25-0805-ZC: 410 West Purchase Road, Southbury CT 06488. Mr. Zoltan Nanassy (Applicant/Owner). Seeking approval to build an accessory unit (ADU); and a second curb cut providing safe access to the new ADU via a second driveway. Site plan was provided with this application.

APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS: Application # 25-0706-ZC: 60 Sleepy Hollow Road, Southbury CT 06488. Mr. Ryan Delp (Applicant/Owner). Seeking approval for the delivery of a pre-built wood framed shed style structure with an overhead door on a gravel pad (not on a permanent foundation). Proposed structure will replace existing non-conforming shed located 1 foot from the property line as reflected on the survey. Site plan provided with this application.

APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS: Application # 25-0724-ZC: 105 Lakemere Dive, Southbury CT 06488 Mr. Michael Wilson (Applicant). Seeking approval to raise the wall height without changing the footprint and without impacting the neighboring properties. The increased height will better stabilize the driveway due to the rapid drop odd of the topography. Site plan provided with this application.
