4/22/2024 - May 8, 2024 Budget Referendum Information General Information The Town of Southbury Budget and Pomperaug Regional School District #15 Budget Referendum Date: Wednesday, May 8, 2024 Referendum hours: 6AM - 8PM Same-Day Voter Registration and Early Voting are not available for Referendum. Polling location: All voting will be held at the Firehouse at 461 Main Street South. Property owners who are not registered voters in Southbury may vote at the referendum providing they are U.S. Citizens, at least 18 years of age and own property valued at $1,000 or more recorded on the Southbury Grand List as of October 1, 2023. Budgets 2024-2025 Proposed Town of Southbury Budget Annual Town Meeting will be held on May 6, 2024 to discuss the 2024-2025 proposed municipal budget. 2024-2025 Proposed Region 15 Budget Additional Information Southbury Registrar of Voters Office is open Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm Southbury Senior Services offers transportation for Southbury residents age 60+ and those with disabilities. If you need a ride to the polling place, please call 203-262-0652 to reserve the ride. Reservations must be made no later than 10:00 AM on Monday, May 6. Voters must provided identification to vote at the polling place. Acceptable forms of identification include: a driver’s license or other photo ID; U.S Passport; a pre-printed form of ID, like a tax bill or utility bill, pay stub or bank statement; Social Security card or other government document that shows your name and address; a document that shows your name and signature (i.e. a credit card).
