9/30/2023 - Candy Drive The Ladies Auxiliary of the Southbury Volunteer Firemen’s Association is accepting unopened packages of individually wrapped candy for distribution at their 13th Annual Halloween Spooktacular. A collection box will be located at the back entrance of the firehouse, 461 Main Street South, Southbury, until Wednesday October 18. The SVFALA will accept donations in the front of Stop & Shop at 100 Min Street North during the following dates and times: Saturday September 30 from 10 am to 2 pm and on Saturday October 7 from 10 am to 2pm. The Halloween Spooktacular will take place 3 - 5:30pm on Saturday October 21. Children and families are invited to trick-or-treat at decorated booths hosted by community organizations and businesses between the town hall and the firehouse.
