10/22/2023 - 2023 Halloween Spooktacular Due to the weather, Halloween Spooktacular was postponed to Sunday, October 22. Calling all Ghosts and Ghouls! The Ladies Auxiliary of the Southbury Volunteer Firemen’s Association (SVFALA) is hosting the 13th Annual Halloween Spooktacular. This year’s event will take place mostly OUTSIDE between Southbury Town Hall and Center Firehouse and will have an INDOOR component at the Firehouse. Children and families are invited to dress up in their favorite costumes and collect candy from decorated booths along the walking path. The event is free to attend, but non-perishable items and canned goods for the Southbury Food Bank are appreciated. The Halloween Spooktacular will be held on Saturday October 21st from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. (Rain date: Sunday October 22nd.)
