11/28/2025 - Southbury Police Department Annual Toy and Gift Drive The Southbury Police have teamed up with merchants of the Southbury Plaza to organize a toy drive to benefit Southbury Helping Hands (formerly Southbury Needy Fund). Police officers will be at the Southbury Plaza in front of T.J.Maxx store on Friday, November 28 collecting new, unwrapped items, gift cards to local stores and eateries, and monetary donations. Items can also be dropped off at the Police Department by Friday, December 5 or ordered from the Wish List on Amazon with direct shipping to the Police Department. The Annual Holiday Gift Program is in its 48th year! The Southbury Helping Hands coordinates presents for children from families utilizing Southbury Social Services.
