12/7/2025 - Free Holiday Concert On Sunday, December 7 at 4 pm The Church of the Epiphany and the United Church of Christ Southbury will host the Danbury Community Band, conducted by Albert Montecalvo. The concert is entitled “ A Holiday Musicale” and will feature Semper Fidelis by John Phillip Sousa as a tribute to all the Armed Forces who fought in the Pacific after December 7,1941. Also programmed will be selections from ‘The Sound of Music, a contemporary version of “Angels We Have Heard On High,” and a medley of traditional Hanukkah songs. These will be followed by “The Christmas Song,” made famous by Nat King Cole, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” featuring our vocalist Patrick Harris, and two of the most enduring and beloved holiday favorites, “Sleigh Ride” and “A Christmas Festival,” both written by Connecticut's own Leroy Anderson. The concert is free to all and donations are appreciated. Hoping to see everyone at the concert.
