10/4/2025 - American Legion Document and Paper Shred Day Newtown Savings Bank-Southbury will host a Document-Paper Shred Day to support American Legion Post 147. Proceeds will support annual programs to include multiple scholarships for Region 15 High School Seniors, American Legion Boys and Girls State, a program for High School Juniors to learn about government, American Legion State Police Week for High School Juniors to explore careers in law enforcement, and Wreaths Across America, honoring our Veterans in eight local cemeteries. Shred day is 4 October from 9AM-12Noon.
