Want to have your own fresh vegetables this summer? There are still a few community garden plots available to rent for Southbury residents. If you don't have a spot at your home for a garden, rent a plot for $25.00 for the season. The plots are located at Settlers Park. The garden is open from Saturday April 30th to October 1st and there are community work days to encourage fellowship and maintenance of the grounds.
The Southbury Community Garden, operated through the Southbury Department of Parks and Recreation provides a healthy community to cultivate the joys of gardening, meet fellow gardeners, and contribute to our local food pantry. The members are required to abide by the Garden Regulations.
