9/8/2017 - The Fine Art of Decluttering on September 28, 2017

In this presentation on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 7pm in the Kingsley Room of the Southbury Public Library, patrons will learn how they or a loved one can stay home after retirement. Deirdre Dolan Nesline of DeClutter by Deirdre will show patrons the fine art of decluttering, organizing, and right-sizing their homes.

Deirdre will speak about getting rid of stuff and keeping it moving out of your home. This presentation will put a positive focus on what can be an overwhelming and emotional task. Deirdre will address why we hold onto items, how to recognize clutter blindness spots, how to sort, and ideas on how to get rid of items you no longer need. This presentation will serve as a great “how-to” for anyone in the process of decluttering or interested in starting the process.

Deirdre Dolan Nesline sorts through and declutters homes so people can age in place or project manages the whole relocation process to a new home. She grew up in Bethel, CT where she worked in her family’s 125 year old business before starting DeClutter by Deirdre.
