5/4/2018 - Easy Steps to Organic Gardening

The Southbury Garden Club will present a program by Jenna Messier outlining “Easy Steps to Organic Gardening.” on Friday, May 4th at 1:00 p.m. at the Southbury Public Library.

Jenna was the Director of the NOFA Organic Land Care Program for 6 years, where she managed the NOFA Standards for Organic Land Care and the educational programming for hundreds of students.

Currently, she is the owner of Homes to Grow, LLC, which offers apartment dwellers in West Haven the opportunity to have flowers and vegetables in their backyard. Her program will be based on creating an organic yard and garden based upon the NOFA Standards and her experience developing .1 acre in an urban setting and turning it into a productive ecosystem.
