MESSAGE FROM P&R SUPERVISOR

I’m thrilled to announce both Adventure Day Camp and TeenScape Camp have a majority of weeks full or close to capacity. These summer camps have a new opening date of Monday, June 17th and TeenScape Camp is now offering an additional day of camp each week on Fridays. We are excited to welcome campers to our expanded program!

Pool memberships are available for registration and the Southbury Town Pool will open Wednesday, June 12th.  The Southbury Parks and Recreation Administration Team is excited for the new pool membership system that will allow our patrons to “scan in” when visiting the pool.

I look forward to seeing our Southbury Community attending our upcoming free events: Art in the Park on Saturday, May 11th and the Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony, and Picnic on Monday, May 27th. Our summer concert schedule is also available to view on our website showcasing five concerts this July. I want to thank our patrons who have participated in our winter and spring activities including our enhanced Spring Extravaganza. We continue to serve the community by enhancing programs and creating new ones. We look forward to you being a part this exciting summer!

Summer Aquatics

It’s not too early to start thinking about the summer and lazy, hazy days outdoors at the Southbury Town Pool. Open Swim, Swim Lessons, Sharks Swim Team and special events will all take place at the pool this summer.

TOWN POOL

The Southbury Town Pool at Ballantine Park will open June 12 as your favorite destination to cool off this summer. In addition to our main pool, the Ballantine kiddie pool will be open for our youngest swimmers.

This year, all members will receive a Southbury Town Pool membership card to scan at the pool. Adult memberships, senior memberships, and custom “build your own” family memberships are available.
