2/15/2017 - Town Clerk: Absentee Ballots Available For The February 28th Special State Election

ABSENTEE BALLOTS AVAILABLE FOR THE FEBRUARY 28TH SPECIAL STATE ELECTION

Absentee ballots are available at the Town Clerk’s office for the Feb 28 Special State Election to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Sen. Robert J. Kane. Electors in the 32nd District are eligible to vote.

To obtain an absentee ballot, a registered voter must complete an application. Applications are available at the Town Clerk’s office or can be downloaded from the Town of Southbury website at southbury-ct.org or the Secretary of State’s website at sots.ct.gov.

Once the completed application is received and verified by this office, a ballot will be provided to you. Completed applications may be returned by fax to 203-264-9762 but the original signed application must be returned to the address below prior to the close of polls, in order for the ballot to be counted.

The Town Clerks’ office, 501 Main Street South, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For information call the office at 203-262-0657.
